Hey everyone! We're For Fun and Profit, a chill but dedicated guild looking for some awesome DPS players to join our ranks as we push further into Season 3. We've cleared 8/8 Heroic and are currently 2/8 Mythic, and we're aiming to progress even further. Who We Are

At For Fun and Profit, we believe that raiding should be both enjoyable and productive. We're a group of players who love the challenge of Mythic raiding, but we also value having a good time and building a strong community. We've been raiding together for a while now, and we've built a solid core of dedicated players. We're a diverse group, with members from all walks of life and levels of experience. Some of us have been raiding since vanilla WoW, while others are relatively new to the game. But no matter our background, we all share a passion for raiding and a desire to improve.

We understand that real life happens, and we're always willing to work with our members when they have scheduling conflicts. However, we do expect our raiders to be committed to attending as many raids as possible and to let us know in advance if they're going to be absent.

What We're Looking For

We're currently looking for dedicated DPS players to bolster our raid team. We need players who are passionate about their class, willing to learn and improve, and who can consistently perform at a high level. Specifically, we are looking for individuals who are comfortable with the current raid tier mechanics and are eager to tackle Mythic content.

In terms of specific classes and specializations, we're open to considering any exceptional DPS player. We believe that player skill and attitude are more important than specific class choices. However, we are particularly interested in classes that bring strong utility or fill gaps in our current roster. If you play a class that is highly sought after in the current meta, that's definitely a plus, but it's not a requirement. What matters most is that you play your chosen class well and are committed to contributing to the raid team.

We're seeking players who:

Our Raid Schedule

We raid Wednesdays and Sundays from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM CST. We understand that this time commitment is significant, so we want to make sure that it works for you. We expect our raiders to be on time and prepared for each raid. This includes having your gear repaired, your consumables ready, and a basic understanding of the encounters we'll be facing.

Our raid schedule is consistent and reliable, which allows our members to plan their real-life schedules accordingly. We believe that consistency is key to successful raiding, and we strive to maintain a predictable and stable raid environment. While we understand that occasional absences are unavoidable, we do expect our raiders to make every effort to attend our scheduled raid times. We use a sign-up system to track attendance, and we encourage our members to sign up as soon as possible to help us with raid planning.

Our raid schedule:

  • Sundays: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM CST

We understand that time zones can be confusing, so we've specified our raid times in Central Standard Time (CST). If you're unsure what time that is in your time zone, there are many online time zone converters that can help you. We want to make sure that our raid times are convenient for as many of our members as possible, but we also need to maintain a schedule that allows us to progress effectively.

Current Progression

We're currently 8/8 Heroic and 2/8 Mythic in the current raid tier. We're proud of our progress so far, but we're not content to stop there. We're determined to push further into Mythic content and see how far we can go. We believe that with the right team, we can achieve even greater things.

Our progression raiding environment is focused on improvement and learning. We analyze our logs, discuss strategies, and work together to overcome challenges. We don't expect perfection, but we do expect effort and a willingness to learn from mistakes. We believe that a positive and collaborative approach is the key to success in Mythic raiding.
